Just Glovz's American-made disposable gloves look to stem the tide of counterfeit and poorly made gloves making their way into the market, working with leaders in anti-counterfeit and GPS tracking technology

LOS ANGELES , December 18, 2024 () –

When Jodie Friedman looked to create Just Glovz, she wanted to do more than just create American-made disposable gloves for a variety of industries. She wanted to stop a "troubling trend":

"As we watched the rising demand for reliable protective equipment across industries, we noticed a troubling trend—counterfeit and poorly made gloves were making their way into the market," Friedman said. "These gloves compromised not only safety but also the values that American manufacturing stands for: quality, integrity, and local support.

"We knew we had to take action."

With backgrounds in safety equipment and a passion for supporting American industries, Just Glovz set out to address these issues by partnering directly with American manufacturing plants.

"We established close relationships with manufacturers who share our commitment to quality and transparency," Friedman explaind. "Our goal was not only to supply gloves but to provide peace of mind, knowing that every glove we distribute meets rigorous U.S. standards for protection and performance."

In time, Just Glovz partnered with USA Protective Care (UPC), which Friedman calls a leader in anti-counterfeit and GPS tracking technology. The partnership incorporates UPC's EncryptorSeal anti-counterfeit, tamperproof and GPS tracking technology in Just Glovz's products, which are designed to be fentanyl resistant.

"This partnership allowed us to add an extra layer of security to our products, ensuring that every glove is genuine and trackable, from the factory to your hands," Friedman said.

Currently, the industries Just Glovz works with include health care, foodservice, industrial, tattoos, distribution and government.

"At Just Glovz, we are more than a glove distributor; we’re a movement toward safer, higher-quality protective gear that supports American manufacturing," Friedman said. "Each pair of our nitrile gloves is crafted with care and backed by state-of-the-art anti-counterfeit and GPS tracking technology, providing authenticity and security you can trust."
