Exciting times lie ahead as FSC® Forest Week begins on the 21st of September 2024. FSC® Forest Week is a global campaign to raise awareness towards the importance of safeguarding our world’s forests and the livelihoods that depend on them. This year, the campaign theme focuses on how small changes can have big impacts when it comes to combatting climate change and the ongoing biodiversity crisis. Getting Everyone Involved It’s important that we all understand the importance of our world’s forests and the difference they make to our everyday lives. Not only do forests act as our planet’s lungs by converting carbon dioxide to oxygen, but they can also provide us with limitless resources if managed ethically and sustainably, whilst protecting the ecology, wildlife and indigenous people. To raise awareness for the importance of our forests and promote FSC® Forest Week, we are running an internal photography competition where Fourstones staff members can submit photos they have taken of forests in their local area, with a chance to win a framed print of their photo and a tree planted in their name! We want this competition to further promote FSC® Forest Week within our business and raise awareness for responsible forestry. FSC® Paper We are passionate about making sustainable paper products. Our first FSC® product range, HONEST®, was launched in 2019 to make a bold statement towards sustainable and natural paper products. Since then, we exclusively use FSC® certified paper for the paper products we make in the UK, from centrefeed to toilet roll. You can browse our FSC® certified paper product range here.
What’s more, for the first time ever, Fourstones are proud to announce that we are participating in FSC® Forest Week 2024.
