EuroVast publishes first sustainability report; it highlights consolidation of the group’s position in the European panorama, 9% growth in employed workforce, a doubling provided training hours, installation of 10,000m2 meters of solar panels in 2023

December 27, 2024 (press release) –

The commitment of EuroVast Spa is concrete, as demonstrated by the publication of its first sustainability report.

An important result achieved thanks to the work of the whole Eurovast team and a first milestone that marks the beginning of a path through which EuroVast will mark each year the step of its concrete commitment in terms of sustainability.

The document puts in black and white the will to report and measure the performances in terms of environmental, social and economic sustainability. The need to “do sustainability” has always been present in EuroVast: it is not only a duty, but also an opportunity to grow and innovate together with people who believe in the company.

The document represents a fundamental step in the path started by EuroVast and is divided into 5 Chapters describing the commitments and results of the company in the various areas of interest: the characteristics of governance, the approach to the environment, the people and welfare policies, and yet the distinctive way of making products and the actions committed to supporting the territory.

The document highlights the consolidation of the Group’s position in the European panorama, a growth in the employed workforce (9% more than the previous year), a doubling in the hours of training provided (+77% compared to 2022) and the installation of 10,000 square meters of solar panels that confirms that the company has embarked a sustainable path.

The opening letter signed by President Vincenzo Romano summarises EuroVast’s path and future outlook.
“Over the years, we have launched several initiatives to move towards an increasingly sustainable business model. These include growing investments to replace road freight transport in favour of rail, the launch of “RE.WIND®”, an innovative project that promotes plastic recycling, and the launch of the Suprema-line, whose packaging is made of 60% recycled plastic. At the same time, we are also keen to invest in and to initiate projects that can bring a real benefit to the realities nearby.”

The commitment to the environment is a promise that the EuroVast Group is committed to every day.
