Ecolab expands CLEEN platform with Batch Execution module; digital solution aims to optimize efficiency, compliance for life sciences manufacturing

The new Batch Execution module is designed to enhance efficiency and accuracy in batch manufacturing processes by enabling seamless execution of records and capturing critical data in real-time. With step-by-step guidance and a user-friendly interface, operators can work to maintain compliance, execute procedures, and generate detailed reports to support traceability and quality assurance.

The existing Digital Logbook module goes beyond the standard logbook tool by enabling manufacturers to rapidly convert any Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) or compliance process into a highly digitized workflow. Self-enforcing interlocks and built-in on-demand training materials aim to drive SOP adherence by design. In addition, a comprehensive digital audit trail enables real-time reporting, and embedded analytics benchmark performance to identify opportunities to help reduce downtime, improve equipment availability, and increase the efficient utilization of resources.

Finally, the Cleaning Validation module streamlines and standardizes cleaning validation with intelligent automation. Manufacturers can complete compliant validation in less time than it historically takes while ensuring data integrity at each stage. Through an easy-to-navigate digital platform, CLEEN Validation drafts new protocols for the user, runs precise calculations on carryover limits and worst-case product rankings, auto-generates audit reports for export, and delivers recommendations for optimizing existing cleaning procedures.
