Referenced from PaperFirst Magazine, ANDRITZ has successfully configured and launched the PrimeDry Yankee Hood HT and air system in Northwood Tissue's PM1 tissue machine, based in Chesterfield, England. The innovative gas-powered, high-temp hood enhances drying efficiency and heat transfer rates, achieving significant energy saving and more cost-effective tissue production. The first paper roll was produced by July 26, following the schedule, which included dismantling old machinery, setup and testing the new dryer. The machine has been running non-stop, showcasing the proficiency of ANDRITZ Novimpianti's field service team in close partnership with the client's crew.
