– The Alcoraz Foundation and ICT Ibérica, through our Foxy brand, have launched the initiative 'Juega tu papel'. This is a reforestation project that aims at repopulating three hectares, one in Huesca, one in Zaragoza and one in Teruel, with the help of an important sports club in each province of Aragon. To this end, ICT Ibérica and the Foundation collaborate with three sports organisations: the football team S.D. Huesca, the basketball team Casademont Zaragoza and the volleyball Club Voleibol Teruel, which will support this initiative The aim is to improve several green areas in the region, contribute to the protection of the Ebro river basin, help restore the soil and create windbreaks to protect the crops. In this way, everyone will play their part in the fight against global warming, and social awareness initiatives will be carried out in schools through environmental education. Reforestation has been taking place since last November – with different plants and trees suitable for the specific areas – in three Aragon locations (Alagón, Siétamo and Calamocha), with CO2Gestión as supplier of the gardening services required for the project.
