EcoVadis has prolonged Teijin Aramid’s Gold status in the Sustainability rating. For the sixth year in a row, the independent and objective assessment shows Teijin Aramid is in the top 6% of sustainable manufacturers of man-made fibers. Our achievement is a result of fulfilling our ambitions, putting forth effort in implementation, and being transparent in the area of CSR and sustainability. Since 2015 Teijin Aramid participated in the EcoVadis Assessment to measure the CSR progress and identify improvement areas. Teijin Aramid emphasizes the principle of sustainable business by benchmarking its environmental, social, and ethical performance. We actively seek objective insights and feedback by participating in EcoVadis’ testing to strengthen the company’s sustainability strategy. Raising the bar on sustainability Teijin Aramid is measured on 21 parameters, which are divided into four key sustainability indicators. These are 1. Environment 2. Labor and Human Rights 3. Ethics and 4. Sustainable procurement. Currently, EcoVadis has rated more than 90.000 companies, in more than 160 countries on their sustainability efforts. As EcoVadis adheres to international sustainable development standards, it is regarded as a trustworthy sustainability rating.
