Interstate Waste Services, Inc. (“IWS”) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Cipollini Carting and Recycling, Inc. based in Rockaway, NJ. Cipollini Carting and Recycling, Inc. (“Cipollini”), founded in 1989, is a non-hazardous solid waste and recycling collection provider serving residential and commercial customers throughout northern and central New Jersey. IWS is the largest privately held, vertically integrated provider of solid waste collection, transfer, recycling, and disposal services serving the greater New York City and New Jersey markets. The Cipollini acquisition will expand IWS’s collection capability in the western portion of their New Jersey footprint and will allow IWS to internalize additional volume into its rail-served disposal network.
