TOKYO , April 25, 2022 (press release) –

Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. (President: Toru Nozawa) will revise the prices of lignin products as follows:

Applicable products:
Lignin products

SAN X, VANILLEX, PEARLLEX, VANIOL, and others.

2. Range of increase:

20% or more (as raw fuel surcharges such as coal, heavy oil, and chemicals)

3. Time of revision:

New prices will apply starting from products shipped on June 1, 2022.

4. Reason for revision:

Due to the global increase of raw fuel prices, logistics and labor costs have also increased. Though we have worked thoroughly to reduce costs, we have decided to revise the prices because we cannot overcome all of these constraints. We will revise the prices as a raw fuel surcharge. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
