LOS ANGELES , July 18, 2014 () – U.S. health food manufacturers are starting to offer versions of ranch dressing to capitalize on its growing popularity in the country, The Wall Street Journal reported July 18.

Bolthouse Farms, for example, offers a 40-calorie per serving ranch dressing made with Greek yogurt, and Whole Foods Market has doubled its selection of vegan and vegetarian ranch-flavored offerings.

According to NPD Group, the average American ate ranch dressing nearly 15 times last year, more than any other type.
