Pact Group Pty. Ltd. is aiming to drive expansion through acquisitions in Asian markets and with the upcoming launch of new products,
Plastics News reported on July 15.
Pact’s standalone design division Inpact Innovation Pty. Ltd., a team of industrial designers, inventors and sustainability specialists, will soon introduce a plastic paint pail, dubbed the Perfect Paint Pail.
The company is also looking to gain ground in Asian markets through acquisitions, taking particular interest in Dynapack Asia Pte. Ltd., an Indonesian plastic packaging manufacturer.
Pact is also focused on developments in technologies such as thin-wall injection molding. The company recently extended two technology licensing agreements with RPC Group PLC subsidiary RPC Superfos Ltd., a manufacturer of injection-molded plastic packaging based in Copenhagen, Germany.
The agreement will apply to Pact subsidiaries Tecpak Industries Ltd. in Dunedin, New Zealand, and VIP Plastic Packaging Pty. Ltd. in Melbourne, Australia, allowing access to new developments in the field.
