– China Forest Products Imports - Logs And Lumber May 2014 / Pulp June 2014 Data
* Pulp - In June 2014 China imported 1,505,000 tonnes of pulp at an average cost of $669 per tonne. Pulp imports were up 17% compared to June 2013. YTD pulp imports are 8.799 million tonnes compared to 8.250 million tonnes in the prior period (up 7%).
* Month over month, pulp imports are up 5% for June 2014, lumber imports are up 12% for May 2014 and log imports are down 10% for May 2014. Month-over-month prices are down 4% for pulp for June 2014, down 2% for lumber for May 2014 and up slightly for logs for May 2014.
