A fire broke out in a machine at Northstar Pulp & Paper Co. Inc.'s recycling facility in Springfield, Massachusetts, on the morning of July 12, reported MassLive.com the same day.
The blaze was contained to the piece of machinery where it began, although firefighters had trouble dousing the flames and had to resort to using a fire retardant foam.
Three employees who were inside the building when the fire broke out were treated for smoke inhallation at the scene, but no one was seriously injured, MassLive.com reported.
