Coca-Cola Embonor reports 4% year-over-year rise in H1 sales volume to 119.2 million bottles

LATIN AMERICA , July 9, 2014 () – Chilean Coca-Cola bottler Coca-Cola Embonor (SCL:EMBONOR) Tuesday said its sales volume rose by 4% year-on-year to 119.2 million bottles in the first half of 2014.

Chilean sales went up by 1.7%, while sales in Bolivia showed a 6.5% annual increase between January and June.

Sales of bottled water added 24% compared with the first half of 2013, while soft drinks and non-carbonated beverages registered annual increases of 2% and 6%, respectively.

Coca-Cola Embonor produces and sells soft drinks in Chile and Bolivia under licence by The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO). It offers the Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Nordic Mist, Powerade and Quatro brands as well as bottled water, energetic drinks and fruit juices.
