It’s London’s Gay Pride celebrations this weekend, and while many will likely be celebrating with a harder beverage, Coley Porter Bell is marking the occasion with a good old-fashioned cup of tea.
The consultancy has created the cleverly-named Gaiety concept – a range of three teas with designs that reference the idea of bringing ‘two of the same’ together.
Packs show teacups and teapots with affectionately-linked handles and spouts; an idea carried through to inside the packs – all the teabags are linked together with one tag.

‘We liked the idea of starting with the ‘everyday’, says Coley Porter Bell. ‘We thought about how being gay in London in 2014 is less about rainbows and glitter (well, sometimes) and more about having a laugh with friends over a cup of tea!
‘If London Pride’s mission is to make LGBT+ acceptable everywhere everyday, what could be more everyday than a cuppa?’
The beautiful designs are complimented with some smart back-of-pack copy, demonstrating against the idea of ‘putting people in a box’, because ‘that’s for teabags!’
Gaiety is not for retail / sale
