Boise Cascade aims to have new distribution center in Lee's Summit, Missouri, fully operational by late Q3, to serve customers within 150-mile radius of Kansas City

BOISE, Idaho , June 25, 2014 (press release) – Boise Cascade Company (NYSE: BCC) announced it will open a new distribution center in the Kansas City metro area. The facility, located in Lee's Summit, Missouri, will focus principally on serving customers within a 150-mile radius of Kansas City. The ten-acre site is located near interstate 470 and is served by the Union Pacific railroad. The distribution facility is expected to be fully operational by late third quarter.
