On May 30 2014, Meco Corporation announced its acquisition of Stakmore, the highly regarded manufacturer of wood folding furniture to provide customers with a broader line of folding furniture options.
Headquartered in Owego, NY, Stakmore has been manufacturing its unique line of wood folding products since 1922. The same basic folding mechanisms designed and patented by the company’s founders are still the basis for all the folding chairs and tables produced today. Stakmore folding chairs and tables have a wide variety of designs for residential and commercial applications, including homes, country clubs, churches, universities, community centers, banquet facilities, funeral homes and more. The table and chair designs are functional, elegant and available in a variety of premium finishes.
All operations and distribution of Stakmore products has been moved to Meco's corporate headquarters in Greeneville, Tennessee.
