Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) is set to install a new bottling line at its Wakefield, England facility, Drinks Business Review reported June 24.
The move forms a part of the company's plans to invest more than £1 million (US$1.7 million) a week in its Great Britain operations in 2014. To date, CCE has invested around £227 million in its operations since 2011.
The new line has the capacity to produce Coca-Cola bottle using polyethylene terephthalate (PET) in a range of sizes, at a speed of up to 40,000 per hour.
