HOUSTON , June 20, 2014 (press release) – Lennar, one of Houston’s leading homebuilders, recently opened their first model home in Tavola, Friendswood Development Company’s newest master-planned community located just seven miles north of Kingwood off US 59.

Tavola, an Italian word that refers to a table or a gathering place for meals, is the first exit north of the intersection of the future Grand Parkway that will offer residents easy and convenient access to virtually every area of Houston. The final segment of the Grand Parkway, which will put Tavola residents within minutes of major employment centers including the new Exxon Mobil Campus, and the Greenspoint Business District will be complete next year. Tavola already offers easy access to Intercontinental Airport and downtown via US 59.

Lennar’s new Terrazzo model is located near the front of Tavola and represents the builder’s Brookstone Collection of designs priced from the $170,000s and built on 50-foot home sites. The two-story home features a front porch, a two-story entry, a first-floor master suite, three spacious upstairs bedrooms and a game room with French doors opening to a front balcony. Lennar is also offering its Stonewall Collection priced from the $240,000s on 55-foot home sites and the Texas Reserve Collection priced from the $280,000s on 65-foot home sites. Located in the New Caney Independent School District, Tavola is the location for the area’s newest elementary school – Tavola Elementary, which will open in August, 2015 and serves students in grades Pre-K through fifth.
