Bruegger's Bagels announces addition of three new limited-time menu items: Jalapeno Bacon & Egg Sandwich, Edamame & Beet Salad, and Whipped Blueberry Greek Cream Cheese & Greek Yogurt; all items available through Sept. 15

Bruegger's Bagels, known for its freshly baked, authentic New York-style bagels, wholesome ingredients and signature coffees, adds three new menu items and brings back a seasonal favorite to offer the summer's most-loved flavors and colors.

Bringing on the summer heat is the new Jalapeno Bacon & Egg Sandwich, a delicious combination of Latin flavors including a zesty sofrito sauce of green bell peppers, cilantro, garlic and roasted onions, plus jalapeno bacon, cheddar and egg, all served on a 12-Grain Bagel.

The new Edamame & Beet Salad features a classic combination of beets, lean grilled chicken, blue cheese and pickled onions, tossed with a light, summery honey-orange vinaigrette.
The edamame adds color, flavor and texture for a satisfying meal-sized salad.

"We created interesting new combinations for our summer menu that wake up the palate and offer our guests the season's favorite flavors with our own unique spin," said Bruegger's Bagels Executive Chef Philip Smith. "We also introduced some new ingredients, like beets, edamame and sofrito sauce, to really bring something different to the table this summer."

Bruegger's Bagels also adds a new texture to the summer lineup – new Whipped Blueberry Greek Cream Cheese & Greek Yogurt adds yogurt to the mix for a lighter spread that complements any of the bakery's 15-plus bagel varieties. Rounding out the summer menu with a sunshiny vibe is the returning summer favorite Island Coconut Iced Coffee (which can also be served hot), a fresh breath of sea air that is reminiscent of the fruity, refreshing drinks of the Caribbean.

The summer menu will be available through Sept. 15 at all of Bruegger's Bagels' more than 300 locations.
