Vietnam's May Forestry expects sawmill, MDF plants under construction in Nghe An province to begin production by year-end, places order worth 22M Swedish kronor with Helsingborg-based Nederman for dust extraction, transportation equipment

HELSINGBORG, Sweden , June 18, 2014 (press release) – Nederman has received an order from May Forestry JSC to supply dust extraction and transportation solutions to two new factories in Vietnam. The order is worth SEK 22 million.

The Nederman system will reduce dust levels in the production facilities producing MDF boards and fingerjointed solid wood panels. The order includes extraction fans, dust collectors, rotary valves, silos, conveying, control systems and engineering.

May Forestry is in the construction phase of the project, the sawmill shall be running by end Q32014, the MDF line, specialising on thin MDF for furniture by the end of 2014 in the northern central province of Nghe An.

“The wood processing industry is growing in Vietnam and this order is an important reference for us going forward,” says Sven Kristensson, Nederman’s CEO.

The order is booked in the second quarter of 2014 and installation is expected to take place during second half this year.
