Standard Pacific promotes Ted McKibbin to regional president, effective immediately, where he will oversee company's Arizona, Nevada, Southern California operations; McKibbin formerly served as president of Southern California Coastal Division

IRVINE, California , June 16, 2014 (press release) – Standard Pacific Corp. (NYSE: SPF), one of the nation's leaders in homebuilding quality, today announced the promotion of Ted McKibbin to the role of Regional President effective June 16, 2014. In this position, McKibbin will oversee the Company's Arizona, Nevada and Southern California operations. He will report to Standard Pacific Corp. Chief Executive Officer Scott Stowell. Elliot Mann, Charlotte President for Standard Pacific Homes, will succeed McKibbin as Southern California Coastal President.

With this promotion, Ted joins Standard Pacific Homes' Regional Presidents Todd Palmaer and David Pelletz. Palmaer oversees the Company's Colorado, Northern California and Texas operations and Pelletz oversees the Company's operations throughout Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina.

"Ted is an outstanding leader who has played an integral role in the success of our Southern California Coastal Division over the past 12 years," said Stowell. "With over 28 years of experience in the homebuilding industry and the respect he has garnered throughout the Company, Ted will be a tremendous asset to the division operators across his region."

McKibbin joined Standard Pacific Homes in June 2002 as Vice President of Project Management in Orange County. He was promoted to Southern California Coastal Division President in May 2007 and helped shape the Company's portfolio of diverse master-planned communities and other innovative product offerings including Talega in San Clemente; Del Sur in San Diego; The Tides in Newport Coast; and Beach Collection in Marina Del Rey. McKibbin received his Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Southern California.

Assuming the role of Southern California Coastal Division President, Elliot Mann is a highly regarded industry veteran who has led Standard Pacific Homes' Charlotte Division since April 2003. Mann has also served the industry at large, in roles including President of the Homebuilders Associations of Charlotte in 2007 and a member of the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Homebuilders Association, HomeAid, and Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte. Elliot is a graduate of the School of Real Estate & Construction Management at the University of Denver.
