When private consortium Swedpaper had taken over Billerud Korsnäs' paper mill outside Gävle in 2012, a new maintenance system for the paper machine was installed. By the summer of 2013, the new Infor EAM system from Prevas was taken into operation. The system is both better and cheaper than the IBM-Maximo system that was used before, according to Managing Director and partner of the consortium Lars-Åke Brännström. It can be run on all web-based platforms, also smartphones.
