Casey's board of directors elects Terry W. Handley to serve as president of the company, effective immediately; Handley has been company's COO since 2006, will continue to serve in that role

ANKENY, Iowa , June 10, 2014 (press release) – Casey’s General Stores, Inc. (CASY) today reported that the Board of Directors elected Terry W. Handley to serve as President of the Company, effective immediately. Mr. Handley will continue to serve in the role as Chief Operating Officer.

“Terry has demonstrated tremendous leadership throughout his tenure at Casey’s,” said Chairman and CEO Robert J. Myers. “Our customers, employees and shareholders have benefited greatly from his retail experience over the years, and his guidance will be valuable as the Company continues to grow throughout the Midwest.”

Mr. Handley has been with the Company for over 33 years and has served in various capacities including Director of Marketing, Vice President of Food Service, and Senior Vice President of Store Operations. He was named Chief Operating Officer on June 20, 2006.
