CROYDON, England , June 10, 2014 (European Plastics News (CBNB Abstracts)) – he latest Chemicals Trends Report by Cefic shows that the European production of polymers increased by 1.3% year-on-year in 1Q 2014. During the quarter, chemicals output in the EU grew by 3.1% year-on-year. Output in the petrochemicals segment decreased by 7.7% in Mar 2014 compared with Mar 2013, while the production in the entire chemicals industry has been growing.
