SAYREVILLE, New Jersey , June 9, 2014 (press release) – With food safety concerns on the rise, Sabert Corporation continues to innovate and expand on its already popular SureStrip line. Trends indicate that operators and consumers demand safety and protection, especially in regards to food. Sabert provides a solution to this trend with their patented SureStrip tamper line which promises the ultimate in security, while also allowing food to be merchandised beautifully.

The new line of SureStrip rectangular shaped containers compliments the existing square tub containers to provide a complete merchandising solution. Unlike other products available, Sabert SureStrip containers offer a patented tamper resistant feature, while continuing to allow for an appealing display. SureStrip containers are also functional, with great leak resistance and superior stackability.

The patented SureStrip tamper resistant feature is extremely user-friendly. The lid includes a tab that must be pulled to break the perforated tear away band that runs the entire circumference of the container. Once the band has been removed, what is left is a pop-tight, resealable lid that can be reapplied for extended use. The edge that remains on the lid is smooth and clean, rather than sharp and jagged, reducing the subsequent risk of injury. Non-tamper resistant lid options are also available for operators who prefer film sealing or using shrink bands. The two lid options offer maximum tamper resistance flexibility and operator efficiency for a truly versatile line.

This addition to the line will include rectangular containers that come in ten sizes across three footprints - ranging from 8 ounces to 64 ounces, and includes a divided container option. Each footprint has both a tamper resistant and non-tamper resistant lid option. Shipping for the new tamper resistant rectangles will begin on July 1, 2014.
