ROSSANO VENETO, Italy , June 5, 2014 (press release) –

The project, aimed at the luxury, fashion and design sectors, involves all of Favini’s solutions for graphic artists, designers and stylists.

Favini are the world leaders in synthetic leather design and production, supplying a diverse range of industries including fashion, design, luxury goods and sportswear. Favini are also world leaders in the creation of innovative specialist papers made from raw materials such as cellulose, algae and fruit. These innovative papers have become the packaging material of choice for many leading luxury and fashion brands worldwide.

To build on this success Favini is launching a new brand identity designed by the British design consultancy Silk Pearce. The website, key graphic speciality swatches and release papers will be the first items to receive the new branding treatment. In the second half of the year, the visual book, all remaining swatches and Favini’s fair trade exhibition stands will adopt the new design approach.

Innovation and research is Favini’s raison d'être. Thanks to the new identity, Favini’s image is now perfectly aligned with partners in the fields of luxury, fashion and design.

The overhaul of Favini’s website has been the most significant task of the re-brand. It is now a truly comprehensive portal, which stands out for its elegance, colour and modernity. The website provides an intuitive and simple presentation of Favini’s solutions, with several more Graphic Specialities and Casting Releases being showcased.

A large area of the website has been dedicated to the surfaces used to create synthetic leathers. Graphic specialities, news regarding prestigeous partnerships and deals have also been key areas of focus, without forgetting ecosystem protection – this being the underlying theme for Favini which has inspired the creation of top products including Crush, Shiro Alga Carta and Carta Crusca (bran paper), the latter paper created in conjunction with Barilla.

Dynamic documentary video, is another addition to the website. The videos set a lifestyle mood and are a great way of helping visitors understand the production processes behind Favini papers. The first videos to feature document the making of release products and the use of graphic speciality paper to create prestigeous packaging.

With its strong character, combining elegance and glamour, the new website features a lightweight, interactive interface with a decidedly Web 2.0-oriented approach. Thanks to the constant updating and uploading of content to social network pages, Favini’s website is always in contact with the stakeholders, providing helpful advice and valuable support to help them create their new projects.

“Having a strong online presence, with a cutting-edge website that can respond adequately to the needs of a constantly changing marketplace is absolutely essential for us," says Favini CEO Andrea Nappa. "Our partners must be able to access the information they need in a simple and immediate fashion, and need to see us as a partner who speaks the same language in terms of style, design and innovation. Indeed, Favini’s whole coordinated image restyling process follows this approach.”
