Konica Minolta acquires Jacksonville, Florida-based business solutions provider Copytronics Information Systems, formerly a dealer partner, expanding reach in Florida market; company provides cloud services, technology optimization

RAMSEY, New Jersey , June 4, 2014 (press release) – Acquisition to Further Enhance Konica Minolta's Reach in Florida

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta), today announced that it has acquired Copytronics Information Systems (Copytronics), a business solutions dealership headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla., to further increase Konica Minolta's reach in Florida.

Copytronics will continue to retain its current Florida locations in Jacksonville, Rockledge, Ocala, Daytona Beach and Winter Park, as well as its more than 85 sales, service and administrative staff. As a Konica Minolta company, Copytronics will continue to provide customers with best in class document management solutions, managed print services (MPS), hardware and services. As part of the acquisition agreement, Copytronics' executive management will report directly to Tim Marshall, president, CopySource, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Konica Minolta. The South Florida-based company was acquired by Konica Minolta in December 2013.
