Box producer Welch Packaging purchases Illinois-based corrugated box manufacturer Go Packaging, expanding its ability to better serve clients in Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin

AMMAN, Jordan , June 4, 2014 (Al Bawaba Business) – A box producer, Welch Packaging has bought a corrugated box manufacturer in Lombard, Illinois, Go Packaging LLC, expanding the firm s ability to better serve clients in Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin.

The company said that Welch Packaging is now one of the biggest corrugated producers in the Chicagoland area, counting the two production facilities.

Lane-led new division of Welch Packaging will run as Welch Tri-State. Kyle Hawkins will oversee day-to-day operations as general manager of Countryside.

Having over 600 employees, Welch Packaging serves markets across eight sites.
