LOS ANGELES , May 29, 2014 () – Canadian sawmills produced 5,184,100 m3 of softwood and hardwood lumber in March 2014, a year-over-year increase of 2.7% and a gain of 10.2% from ouput in February, Statistics Canada reported on May 29.

Sawmills shipped 4,383,600 m3 of lumber in March - up 8.6% from February.
