SAN DIEGO , May 27, 2014 (press release) – A proposed settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit involving Tadin, Inc., a manufacturer of teas and herbal supplements. The proposed settlement requires Tadin to make certain modifications to the labelling and packaging of its product. This news is being distributed by Classaura.

On April 18th, 2014, Federal Judge Janis L. Sammartino preliminarily approved a settlement resolving a lawsuit between Tadin and a class representing consumers of Tadin products. The lawsuit claimed that Tadin made false and misleading claims, and that it breached express and implied warranties regarding its products. Tadin denies these allegations and continues to stand by its products and advertising. The Court has not decided which side is right. Instead, the parties have decided to settle the case.

The proposed settlement requires Tadin to change the labeling and packaging of its products. The required changes include removing claims about the effectiveness of its products in reducing weight and improving health.

Class members, those who purchased one of more of the Defendant's Products (listed below) for household or personal use between December 21, 2008, and June 21, 2014, may have their legal rights affected by this settlement and are advised to learn more about the proposed settlement and their options.

The Tadin products involved in this lawsuit include: Zendo Dieters Tea, Zendo Extra Fuerte (Extra Strength) Dieters Tea, Zendo Dieters Tea Capsules, Slim-Mate Tea, Alcachofa (Artichoke) Extra Tea, Alcachofa (Artichoke) Capsules, Alcachofa (Artichoke) Extra Capsules, Aloe Vera with Cactus (Sabila Con Nopal) Tea, Aloe Vera with Cactus (Sabila Con Nopal) Capsules, Manzanilla Tea, Manzanilla con Anis Tea, Manzanilla con Menta Tea, Tila Tea, Siete Azahres Tea, Te de Limon, Yerbabuena Tea, Bronco Tea, Linaza Extra, Alcachofa con Linaza, and Nopal Capsules.

Class members wishing to exclude themselves from the settlement, comment, or object to the settlement, must do so by June 21, 2014. Class members who do nothing will be part of the settlement (if approved) and will release all claims asserted in the lawsuit.
