May 26, 2014 () – According to the Finnish Hospitality Association (MaRa), the sale of alcohol in restaurants has decreased by 3% in Finland in the spring of 2014. At the same time, the passenger import of alcohol has gone up by over 20%. The consumption of alcohol in restaurants accounts for approximately 10% of the total alcohol consumption. The Hospitality Association says the share is record low.
