The National Wood Flooring Assn. of Madison, Wisconsin is to host a series of training workshops in June that are aimed at inspectors but open to anyone.
According to the association's magazine Hardwood Floors, testing laboratory and engineered floor expert Josh Hosen will be among the 11 instructors taking part in the series.
Hosen is the manager of certification services at the Hardwood Plywood and Veneer Assn.'s laboratories in Reston, Virginia, where he manages parts of the testing lab and certification programs. Hosen also administers field inspections of quality systems at engineered wood floor manufacturing facilities across the nation, and participates in the development of testing and industry standards, Hardwood Floors reported.
Hosen will work with attendees at two workshops taking place at the association's headquarters in Madison: 'Utilizing Testing Labs' on June 23 and 'Engineered Flooring' on June 24.
