Tennessee-based corrugated packaging company Triad Packaging Inc. was recently acquired by Georgia-based Pratt Industries Inc. after a deal was reached back in March, TriCities reported May 22.
Lee Shillito, president and CEO of Triad, told the
Bristol Herald Courier on Thursday that Pratt Industries, which has holdings in the U.S. and Australia, is purchasing the company's two facilities, which includes a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Bristol, Tennessee.
Shillito said the acquisition will help expand the company's plant, and could produce more jobs within the next five years.
