May 22, 2014 () – IRB (Internacional Restaurantes do Brasil), that has the franchise of Pizza Hut in the Grand Sao Paulo area (SP), is looking to have restaurants in airports throughout Brazil and should open four branches in 2014, two in Viracopos (SP), one in Congonhas (SP) and another in Brasilia. Two branches have been dedicated in the new terminal at Guarulhos (SP), while the selling point already existing there was the top selling of Pizza Hut world-wide. Manager IRB, Jose Aguirre, estimates costs of R$,5mil - R$3,5mil to set up an airport franchise, thus the investment can top R$19mil. IRB runs 36 branches of Pizza in the Grand Sao Paulo and had in 2013 R$200mil turnover.
