May 22, 2014 () – According to statistics by the Finnish Coffee Roasters' Association, Finns consumed approximately ten kilos of roasted coffee per person in 2013. Light roast coffee accounted for approximately 86% of the total coffee consumption. Moreover, the sale of coffee capsules has nearly doubled from the previous year, but capsule coffee only makes up a per cent of the total consumption of coffee. In 2013, a total of 63mn kilos of raw coffee was imported into Finland. The biggest import countries were Brazil, Colombia, Honduras, Kenya, Nicaragua, and Peru.
