STOKE, England , May 20, 2014 (press release) – Complementary Strengths in Brand Packaging Design, Artwork, Prepress, Photography and Printing Services

Leading UK-based packaging graphic services and technology solutions provider for retail brand food and general merchandise, Prestige Group, is merging with the Creative Business Unit of YFYJupiter, a US-based global leader in brand packaging production, design, photography and printing solutions. The new entity will be known as Jupiter Prestige Group (JPG).

JPG combines the complementary strengths of each company, offering clients an unprecedented menu of expert skills and experience in packaging design and production, photography, artwork production, prepress and project management, all underpinned by effective software solutions that deliver speed to market. The newly formed company will have 346 professionals operating in 19 locations throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Australasia.

“The formation of JPG represents a logical step forward for Prestige Group, in line with our longer term business growth strategy," said Mark White, Managing Director of JPG Europe. "I have been aware of YFYJupiter's strengths as a business for several years and our merger now brings together two great companies with an aligned vision for the future.

“The merger further strengthens our position as a leading global provider of packaging graphics services, focused on providing our clients with best-in-class products and services in locations fully aligned to their own sourcing and manufacturing regions. JPG also presents us with exciting opportunities to develop our specialist offerings for clients in North America. In addition, our current and prospective clients in the UK and Europe can now leverage extended services that will help bring streamlined processes to facilitate improved quality alongside time and cost efficiencies.”

Speaking of the merger, Sean Murphy, Managing Director, JPG Asia, said: “Both companies have achieved a high level of success by understanding the importance of focusing fully on the client’s needs and by taking a proactive and consultative approach to create opportunities for our clients and ourselves. We refer to this as our Keiretsu model of doing business and the approach has proven to be very effective.”

Jupiter Prestige Group will officially launch July 1, 2014.
