Loblaw Companies Limited is recalling Butcher's Choice brand ground beef products sold in the Miramichi, New Brunswick marketplace due to possible metal contamination.
The following Butcher's Choice brand products have been sold at the Miramichi Real Atlantic Superstore at 408 King George Highway, Miramichi, New Brunswick.
What you should do
Check to see if you have the products in your home. If the products are in your home do not consume them. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.

Background
This recall was triggered by the company. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. If other high-risk products are recalled the CFIA will notify the public through updated Food Recall Warnings.

There have been no reported injuries associated with the consumption of these products.
