LOS ANGELES , May 16, 2014 () – According to people familiar with the matter, Hershey Co. and Yildiz Holding AS are among the bidders interested in acquiring Russell Stover, the third-largest chocolate producer in the U.S. in terms of sales, The Wall Street Journal reported May 16.

Sources say that Russell Stover hired Goldman Sachs Group to find buyers for its businesses and that first-round offers were in excess of US$1 billion.
