May 13, 2014 () – The sales of light soft drinks and mineral water in Denmark increased by 11.1% in the first quarter of 2014 compared with the same period in 2013, whereas the sales of sugary soft drinks increased by 8.8%, according to the latest official statistics. Border trade sales of soft drinks declined by 5.2% in 1Q 2014, according to statistics from Deloitte. This development is attributed to the abolishment of the soft-drink tax.
