May 13, 2014 (Esmerk) – Danish brewer Carlsberg is to re-launch non-alcoholic beer Erdinger Alkoholfrei (ABV 0.4%) in the Danish market in August 2014. Erdinger Alkoholfrei was previously sold in Denmark by beer importer Theobrands. Carlsberg is also ready to start marketing its own non-alcoholic beer Nordic with an ABV of 0.5% in the Danish market. Carlsberg expects the sale of beer with an ABV of below 0.5% to double in the next two to three years after the change of the Danish laws regarding the marketing of non-alcoholic beers.
