Flexible packaging, cartons and labels manufacturer Americk Group launches new brand strategy, which involves new logos that use co-branded approach across its five sites in UK and Ireland

CLONDALKIN, Ireland , May 7, 2014 (press release) – One of the largest independent packaging groups in Europe has announced the launch of their new branding livery to be adopted across all 5 sites. Following a series of acquisitions this ambitious new brand now boasts a portfolio of leading and well established operations in the labelling, cartons and flexibles markets.

Webtech, Systems Labelling, Primopost, Marchmont and ASP Flexibles have all started to adopt the new logo's which still include a nod to their history. The co-branded approach provides the necessary link to the past following nearly 150 years of combined success. Indeed it is this combined strength that is at the heart of Americk Packaging's strategy for growth; offering packaging expertise to rival the leading European organisations.

CEO Patrick Doran commented "We have reached the point in our strategic plan to combine our strengths under a single identity. From April the market will start to see the transition to the new branding that will run across each of the 5 sites located throughout the UK and Ireland." Doran added. "My team of directors and the staff at each site have a wealth of knowledge in their respective fields. Bringing this specialist knowledge together under a single brand can only add value to the service and packaging options available to our customers."

Americk Packaging have started the roll-out with existing customers which has been well received. Some of whom have already benefited from the broader portfolio. Carton printing, self-adhesive and inmould labels and award winning flexible films are supplied to big names in the FMCG and Healthcare sectors.

The wider market will watch with interest as more acquisitions are likely and the impact of over £9m invested starts to kick in. Americk Packaging have a clear intention to make an impact in 2014.
