– Coal prices in five U.S. coal commodity regions in the week ended May 2 were as follows versus the week ended April 25, according to figures from the U.S. Energy Information Administration supplied by SNL Energy and reported May 5.

Central Appalachia (CAPP) 12,500 Btu, 1.2 SO2: US$60.58, unchanged from week ended April 25
Northern Appalachia (NAPP) 13,000 Btu, <3.0 SO2: US$68.17, unchanged from week ended April 25
