Bulgarian beer maker Zagorka, part of Dutch group Heineken, said on Tuesday it plans a 5.5 million euro ($7.6 million) capital investment this year in its brewery in the southern city of Stara Zagora.
The investment will cover the construction of a new high-tech warehouse for packaging materials and the purchase of a new filling monoblock line for cans, the company told SeeNews in an email.
The Stara Zagora-based company also plans to renovate the facade of the brewery and to start a major green project within the plant. No further details were provided.
Zagorka has a beer brand portfolio comprising Zagorka, Heineken, Ariana, Stolichno, Amstel, Desperados, Kaiser and Starobrno.
