LONDON , April 24, 2014 (Plastics and Rubber Weekly (CBNB Abstracts)) – Data from Allied Market Research (AMR) showed that the global plastics additives market is seen to generate revenues of nearly $58 bn by 2020. The industry will record a compound growth rate of 4.9%/y from $41.4 bn in 2013. Meanwhile, volumes are expected to reach 17,100 tonnes in six years from 12,620 tonnes in 2013. AMR noted that the growth of the plastic additives market will be fuelled by increasing demand for non-toxic ingredients.
