Coding and marking specialist Linx Printing Technologies has opened its China Headquarters to provide sales and service to its growing customer base in the region.
Based in Shanghai, the new office will promote, support and supply Linx’s extensive range of coding technologies including Continuous Ink Jet, Thermal Ink Jet and Laser, enabling the company to provide a fast response, and building on its established reputation for customer service, continual innovation and product reliability.
Linx was one of the first coder manufacturers to operate in China, first establishing a presence in 1993 via a local distributor Diagraph, which the company subsequently acquired in 1999. Since then, Linx has experienced strong demand for its products, managing activities from its UK headquarters. The new China headquarters team will work with the comprehensive Linx authorised distribution network to maximise opportunities in this fast-growing sector.
Speaking at the official opening of the new facility, Linx Managing Director Nigel Hood thanked staff for their hard work and commitment that had led to the establishment of Linx China.
“Our China business has grown particularly rapidly over the past three years and we are confident in our ability to grow it even more quickly in the future,” he commented.
“We have set ourselves ambitious targets, but we have the right team and the right support to meet and exceed these”
