Bulk chemical carrier Quality Carriers expanding dry bulk presence in Eastern Pennsylvania via acquisition of J.P. Donmoyer by Allentown-based independent affiliate F.T. Styles

TAMPA, Florida , April 17, 2014 (press release) – Quality Carriers, Inc. ("Quality Carriers"), the leading North American bulk chemical carrier, has expanded its dry bulk presence in Eastern Pennsylvania.

"F.T. Silfies, our existing independent affiliate in Allentown, PA, joined us in 2010," commented Randy Strutz, President, Quality Carriers. "Over the past few years, we have worked together to diversify their business by adding liquid bulk terminals to their network in Pittsburgh, Taylor and Williamsport, PA. Recently, they had an opportunity to acquire another leading dry bulk carrier in Eastern PA -- J.P. Donmoyer."
