– Catapult is First Among Agencies in The Hub Top 20
Kimberly-Clark and Unilever tied for #1 in shopper marketing in The Hub Magazine’s Hub Top 20, an annual survey of excellence in shopper marketing. Catapult ranked as the number-one shopper-marketing agency for the second year in a row. Walmart was the first retailer to make the list, coming in at #11.
The Hub Magazine compiles The Hub Top 20 in collaboration with Dr. Dan Flint and the University of Tennessee by asking brand marketers, retailers and agencies to evaluate each other in 13 areas critical to success in shopper marketing, a rapidly growing discipline dedicated to serving shoppers and marketing brands at retail.
For the first time, an analysis of open-end comments by survey respondents, along with results of The Hub Prize, the Hub Magazine’s annual competition honoring excellence in the brand experience, were factored into the rankings. “By combining qualitative considerations with the hard data of the survey results, the Hub Top 20 is more fully reflective of what truly constitutes excellence in shopper marketing today,” said Tim Manners, founder of The Hub Magazine.
In order, the other brand marketers in the Hub Top 20 are ConAgra Foods, Procter & Gamble, Clorox, Campbell Soup Co., M&M Mars, The Hershey Co., PepsiCo, The Coca-Cola Co., Kraft Foods, Colgate Palmolive, Bacardi, Barilla Group, Newell Rubbermaid, Nestle, Energizer Holdings, Post Foods, The Hillshire Brands Co., and Reckitt Benckiser.
The other agencies are The Mars Agency, Geometry Global, TracyLocke, FCB/RED, Arc Worldwide, Match Marketing Group, IN Marketing Services, Hunter Straker, Saatchi & Saatchi X, Crossmark, Blue Chip Marketing, The Integer Group, Marketing Arm, Collaborative Marketing Group, Grey Group, Alcone Marketing Group, Upshot, and Collective Bias.
