Capri Sun juice by Kraft Foods Group Inc. will be launching a new clear-bottomed flexible pouch this month to help consumers spot mold and prevent them from ingesting it, Advertising Age reported on April 8.
Free of artificial colors, flavors and preservatives, the juice is therefore more susceptible to mold, which develops from the normal process of fermentation. The updated packaging comes following a year of development and concern from parents on social media over the safety of their children’s drinks.
A tagline that lets consumers know they can “See the goodness before it’s gulped” will accompany the new packaging.
