CANTON, Massachusetts , April 4, 2014 (press release) – Dunkin' Brands Group, Inc. (DNKN), the parent company of Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins, today announced two executive promotions: Lou Beccarelli, Regional Vice President, Dunkin' Donuts, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, DC; and Rick Woods, Vice President, Baskin-Robbins Operations U.S. and Canada.

Lou Beccarelli, Regional Vice President, Dunkin' Donuts, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, DC, will be responsible for providing support to Dunkin' Donuts franchisees and field teams throughout the region, reporting directly to Weldon Spangler, Vice President of Operations for Dunkin' Donuts U.S. and Canada. Mr. Beccarelli has spent 23 years with Dunkin' Brands and has served in a variety of roles within Operations, Development and Operating Systems for both Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins. Most recently Lou served as Senior Director, Multi-Brand Operating Systems, overseeing the operations of all Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin-Robbins Combo locations in the U.S. In this position Lou played a pivotal role in improving sales, operations and the overall guest experience in more than 1,100 Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin-Robbins Combo restaurants. In 2013, Lou also had responsibility for overseeing Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins restaurants in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.

Rick Woods,Vice President, Baskin-Robbins Operations U.S. & Canada, will lead the U.S. and Canada Baskin-Robbins Field Operations team and directly supervise the regional Operations Directors. Mr. Woods will also assume responsibility for Business Development, reporting directly to Bill Mitchell, President, Baskin-Robbins U.S. and Canada, and Dunkin' Donuts & Baskin-Robbins China, Japan and Korea. Prior to this new role, Mr. Woods served two different roles at Dunkin' Brands as Senior Director of Operations for Baskin-Robbins and as Operations Director for Dunkin' Donuts. Prior to joining Dunkin' Brands, he held senior operations positions at Mapco Express and Papa John's.
